SkyTrackPro Native App Soon Available

We are excited to announce that the SkyTrackPro native app for iOS and Android is entering the final testing phase and will be available on the official app stores soon. The app is built specifically for pilots and focuses on the tools that matter most during a flight proper live data, fast visualisation, and offline reliability. It is not a mobile version of the complete SkyTrackPro website but a dedicated flight companion optimised for real world use.

What the App Is Built For

The SkyTrackPro native app focuses on in flight performance and reliable offline use. It is designed as a powerful flight tool, offering the all the features that pilots need directly in the air.

• Live Flight Page: Clean and fast dashboard showing speed, altitude, climb, heading, glide, L D and more.
• Fully Customisable Layout: Pilots can design their own flight screen with tiles, metrics, colours and sizes.
• Background Flight Recording: Records flights reliably even when the app is in the background.
• Offline Maps: Download selected map regions for use in areas with no network coverage.
• Map Styles: Multiple visual styles including outdoor, flat, dark, grey and specialised SkyTrack styles.
• Airspace Upload and Display: View nearby airspace directly on the map with fast rendering.
• Obstacle Upload and Display: Shows obstacles with danger levels using colour coded icons.
• Task Importer and Viewer: Load a task, view cylinders, see SSS and ESS, review route and switch between centre line and optimised geometry.
• Flight Upload: Upload your recorded IGC file directly into your SkyTrackPro account.
• Vario Integration: Connect external varios (BLE NMEA) for baro altitude and vario precision.
• Profile Sync: Your pilot profile, wing selection, and account settings sync with the SkyTrackPro website.

What the App Does Not Include

To keep the app fast, stable, and focused on flight tasks, the native app does not include all features of the full SkyTrackPro website. These remain available through the web platform.

• No task builder or creation tools.
• No club management or member administration.
• No takeoff management.

The app is designed as a flight companion not a full mobile CMS. It provides the features you need in the air, and syncs seamlessly with the website where all advanced tools are available.

The native app benefits from the new SkyTrackPro map engine featuring fast airspace rendering, smooth obstacle display, optimised tile loading and a highly reliable GPS and sensor handling system. Even on long XC flights, the app remains responsive and consistent with minimal battery usage.

Fully Linked to Your SkyTrackPro Account

The app connects directly with your SkyTrackPro account. Your glider selection, pilot details and uploaded tasks synchronise automatically. When your flight ends, you can upload the recorded IGC file with a single tap.

Coming to the App Store Soon

The native app is currently in the final testing and polishing phase. Once the app review process with Apple and Google is completed, you will find SkyTrackPro available for download on both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.
