New Feature: Paragliding Glider Brand & Model Database

We’re excited to announce a major upgrade in SkyTrackPro: a complete Paragliding Glider Brand & Model Database! Pilots can now easily select their exact wing from a growing global list — or add a new model on the fly if it’s missing.

How It Works

After uploading an IGC file, you can edit the flight details, there you’ll find a new dropdown selector for glider brand and model. Simply enter your glider or manufacturer (e.g., Ozone, Advance, Gin, Nova, Niviuk, Flow) and then select the matching model and size.

Edit flight details.

If your glider isn’t in the list yet, no problem — just click “Propose a new glider”. You can instantly register a new brand or model, which becomes available to all pilots once approved.

My super glider

The database currently contains hundreds of wings across major brands and categories, including EN-A through CCC, light versions, tandems, and acro gliders.

Smarter Flight Statistics

With this new system, SkyTrackPro can now automatically associate each flight with a specific glider model, improving ranking accuracy and analytics. Over time, this enables detailed insights — for example, comparing performance by wing class, model, or size.

The goal is to make every pilot’s profile more complete and every uploaded flight more meaningful, while ensuring data consistency for competitions and club statistics.

Powered by the Community

The database is fully community-driven. When pilots add new brands or models, SkyTrackPro reviews them to ensure duplicates or typos don’t clutter the list. This way, every contribution helps build an accurate, living catalog of paragliders used around the world.

Note: This feature is part of the current Beta program. Some brand names or sizes may still need adjustment. Please report missing or incorrect models using the contact form.

Try It Today

To start, simply create an account or log in to your pilot profile, open the Flight Profile section, and select your glider. Then upload your latest flight and enjoy automatic glider-based scoring and visualization.

SkyTrackPro continues to evolve with community feedback — one flight, one glider, one improvement at a time.
